DAVAO CITY – PPP Partylist, led by Congressman Harold Duterte, together with its volunteers, extended relief assistance to around 200 families affected by the recent flooding in Barangay Talomo, Davao City.

The relief operation included the distribution of gallons of potable drinking water and hygiene kits to affected residents. To address the disruption of the community’s water supply, the group also delivered approximately 4,500 liters of clean water using a fire truck, ensuring families had access to safe water for drinking and daily use.

PPP Partylist also acknowledged the invaluable support of its volunteers and partner organizations, particularly Team Jaguar of Catalunan Pequeño and the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) of Barangay Lizada, whose coordinated efforts helped bring immediate assistance to flood-hit communities.

Congressman Harold Duterte emphasized that the relief mission reflected the resilience and unity of Dabawenyos in the face of adversity.

“During times of calamity, you can truly see how strong Dabawenyos are. It is also when the spirit of bayanihan shines, as the government, private organizations, volunteers, and ordinary citizens come together to provide immediate assistance to those affected by the flooding,” Duterte said.

As recovery efforts continue, PPP Partylist reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside communities and volunteers to ensure that families affected by the floods receive the essential support they need as they rebuild and recover.
