Democracy was never designed to be a contest between diplomas and popularity. Intelligence matters, but so do leadership, empathy, integrity, courage, and the ability to earn the public’s trust.

Public service is about serving people—not simply having the longest résumé.

Voters are free to weigh different qualities when choosing their leaders. Some prioritize academic credentials and technical expertise. Others value experience, relatability, or a candidate’s record of action.

That is how democracy works—citizens decide which combination of qualities they believe best represents them. Reducing public service to IQ alone misses the point.

The best leaders are not always the smartest people in the room—they are those who can translate knowledge into solutions, inspire confidence, and genuinely improve the lives of those they serve.

Kaya kung di kayang manalo sa eleksyon, iyak na lang Chel.
