DAVAO CITY – The Office of Congressman Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, in partnership with the Office of Vice Mayor Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, joined the celebration of the Araw ng Barangay 24-C on July 23, 2026 by bringing a free medical mission closer to the community, providing much-needed healthcare services to local residents.

The medical mission offered free medical consultations, medicines, eye check-ups, and reading glasses to qualified beneficiaries. A total of 86 residents availed themselves of the free healthcare services during the activity.

Among the beneficiaries was RJ Agbunag, who brought his three-year-old son for a medical consultation after the child developed cough and colds. He expressed his gratitude for the program, saying it eased their family’s burden by providing free medical care and medicines.

Another beneficiary, 32-year-old Charmie G. Bugtong, also thanked Congressman Pulong Duterte and Vice Mayor Rigo Duterte II for bringing the medical mission to their barangay. She shared that the free consultation and medicines were a great help as she has been dealing with a persistent cough and a kidney-related condition.

Barangay Captain Jupiter D. Jorgio likewise conveyed his appreciation, saying he was grateful that Barangay 24-C was selected as one of the beneficiaries of the outreach program. He noted that initiatives such as the medical mission provide immediate relief to residents, particularly those with limited access to healthcare services.

The medical mission reflects the continuing commitment of Congressman Paolo “Pulong” Duterte and Vice Mayor Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II to promote community health by bringing essential government services directly to the people through close collaboration with local communities.
